Parish Gatherings and Service Experiences

2011-2012 Theme: Catholic Practices

Family Gatherings are offered on Wednesdays. Beginning with a meal and followed by a variety of learning activities, discussion and prayer, you'll explore an important theme of our faith in depth. See the Faith Formation Calendar for dates and times.

Service Experiences are held twice yearly, challenging us to put our faith into action. They include work at service agencies in the Green Bay area, and projects completed here at Nativity and donated to those in need.

Religion Education Sessions for Grades 1-11

Fourteen weekly classroom-based sessions are offered October 4 to March 21. Children and youth will meet in small groups of 10 or fewer with a catechist. Textbooks or other prescribed materials will be followed. Parents and other adults of the parish are needed to serve as catechists, substitute catechists, safety monitors, attendance and prayer checkers, etc. Please see the Faith Formation Registration Form for volunteer roles.

Gr. 1-5 children will meet on Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm. Parents are welcome to attend the session with their children, but are not required to do so. See the Faith Formation Calendar for the dates of the fourteen sessions.

Gr. 6-11 youth will meet on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm. See the Faith Formation Calendar for the dates of the fourteen sessions. Please note that sessions for youth in Grade 11 serve as preparation for confirmation. An invitation and information form for this Sacrament is mailed directly to families with a high school jumior. Please contact Christine Wolf (490-1352 ext 213) for more information.
